Clone

A Kaboom Clone is a Minecraft server running kaboomserver/server (commonly via kaboomserver/framework)-like software.

How to create one?

There are many ways to create a server, but the recommended and most similar to how the main Kaboom server runs is as follows:

Get a server, this can be an old computer, your own, or a VPS, running the Linux OS.
Create a user called server. (ensure a home directory is being created and is the default one)
Install git.
Log in as server, you can do this by running su - server. Enter the home directory by running cd ~/.
Download kaboomserver/framework, you can do this by running git clone https://github.com/kaboomserver/framework.
Clone the server repository using git clone --depth 1 https://github.com/kaboomserver/server.git server-default, and run cp -r server-default/ server/ to initiate the server directory.
Run ~/framework/script/init.sh to start the server, if desired.
Log out of server, you can do this by running exit.
Add kaboomserver/framework/config/crontab to /etc/crontab.
